Faculty and students from both the WVUCollege of Law and the Eberly College of Arts & Science, Department of Public Administration assist the City of Moundsville with Comprehensive Plan. Margaret Stout, an assistant professor and students of Public Administration at WVU got the process started in 2012 by soliciting public opinion on the plan. In January, faculty and students at the College of Law joined the team to verify that the plan complied with the West Virginia Code. Taking advantage of the expertise from both schools has improved the process for the town. The collaboration has also allowed students to work and learn from different disciplines.
